Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors, including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.
We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Partner who knows how to deliver exceptional talent in the shortest timescales possible, whilst delivering an all-round outstanding experience for internal stakeholders and candidates alike. Ultimately, we want everyone to leave the interview process wanting to work for Opticore IT.
Currently, we are a team of 4 split across the TA and Resourcing functions. The team is based out of our London HQ in the Liverpool Street area, and you’ll be reporting to our Talent Lead.
What you'll be doing:
• Interacting with internal stakeholders of all levels as well as being the first port of call between Opticore and prospective candidates.
• Managing the full life cycle of multiple opportunities across Network Engineer, DevOps, Project Management, and internal HQ opportunities from time to time, such as Sales, Ops and Marketing
• Sourcing and qualifying candidates via telephone, our ATS and tooling
• Writing job adverts
• Managing external recruiters and interviewing their candidates for qualification, should the CV pass review.
• Arranging all interviews internally and externally
• Qualifying JDs with Account Managers and Technical teams to ensure you have all the information needed to deliver the right candidates in specified timeframes.
• Managing your own pipeline, ensuring that even in quiet times, you are interacting with talent to reduce time to hire
• Provide market insights to the team and Account Managers alike to ensure everyone is up to date with salaries, market conditions and challenges in the opportunities you are leading.
• Sourcing up-and-coming talent by attending events such as meetups, universities, and conferences.
• Unlike a lot of in-house, we offer a commission bonus per internal hire, but instead of candidate ownership, you have rec ownership, meaning from time to time you will hand candidates to your teammates.
• Building internal relationships to utilise the talent Opticore already has for referrals.
What you'll bring:
• Proven track record of delivering in a similar fast-paced environment, such as a consultancy, whether in-house or agency
• Previous usage of and ATS (ideally Teamtailor) and comfortable using tooling such as LinkedIn and Job Boards
• Inquisitive and positive mindset. Unafraid to ask questions to understand but also willing to push back where needed.
• Strong in Boolean search strings
• Strong in candidate outreach via the phone and tooling
• Excellent attention to detail
• An ability to work autonomously, as well as a team-first ethos, we’re all in this together after all.
