Senior Project Manager
You will be an accomplished Infrastructure Project Manager with previous experience in delivering security related IT change.

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Project Manager to work on a variety of security projects that may include, but not limited to backup & recovery, identity security, browser security within our Hospitality client. You'll join our Project and Programme Management Practice, based in the Dunstable 3 days a week.

What you'll be doing:
- Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful delivery of complex security-related IT projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee realistic project, quality, and risk management plans; ensure risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply specialised knowledge and experience in infrastructure and IT security projects, ensuring that deliverables meet both business and security objectives.
- Lead one or more project teams, assigning and monitoring tasks, motivating team members, and supporting individual performance to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor and control allocated resources, including human, material, and financial, ensuring adherence to project budgets and forecasts. Maintain accurate financial tracking and progress reporting.
- Ensure that a robust change control process is in place and actively used to evaluate and manage the impact of project changes on costs, schedules, and resource requirements. Report impacts promptly to project sponsors.
- Work within the established organisational governance framework, under the oversight of the project/programme management office where applicable. Ensure compliance with security, legal, and regulatory standards.
What you'll bring:
- Good grounding in traditional Project Management governance practices
- Passionate about technology with the ability to translate solutions so they are easily understood by non-technical stakeholders
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; able to inspire and influence teams and Senior Exec alike
- Experience managing large projects and multiple, concurrent IT projects
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, assign and manage work activities, meet deadlines and develop project management reporting in a timely and effective manner
